What AI is and is not, where it genuinely helps in public service, and where it should not be used.
Week 2 Responsible and public-trust AI
Bias, transparency, accountability, and the public-trust questions that come first in government.
Week 3 Policy and governance
Turn principles into workable guidance: risk frameworks, guardrails, and clear internal policy.
Week 4 Procurement without the hype
Evaluate vendors and tools as a non-technical leader, and separate real capability from marketing.
Week 5 Applied to your mandate
Scope a real use case in your own team and shape it into something you can act on
Week 6 Capstone and presentation
Finish and present your governance artifact to the cohort and get feedback you can use.
The weekly themes are illustrative and may be refined with the facilitator before each cohort. The shape stays the same: learn, apply, and finish with something real.
